This ID was made in a forest area with in Lettuce Lake Park, which makes the organism a wild one. The park is a conservation park and discourage feeding or disturbing of the organisms. The temperature around 89 degrees Fahrenheit with sunny skies and high humidity. There was no precipitation and medium winds around 8.1 mph. The environment had many wasps and dragonflies. The mushroom thrived amongst other species of plants and water. The mushroom was circular with rough edges and a bright white color with a light yellow color in the middle it's head. Due to the distinctive color/folding of the mushroom, I was able to identify the organism. The inaturalist suggestions included 'cowboy's mushroom' on its list. I went on a California Mushroom Guide website (http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Hygrophorus_eburneus.html) and compared the actual mushroom as well as surrounding structures to the pictures I took. I found heavy similarities, so believe this is the correct ID. Mushrooms are fungi.
