Original observation #18489679 (iNaturalist)
Notes:
On the bark of an old mature oak tree. You can see where the discs have been feeding, as the bark will be thinner there. This is the largest patch of open, hydrated discs that I've seen, usually they're more spread out and often dried and curled.
