Small light green round lichen that grows in puff shaped collections. Their shape is often what distinguishes them as deer moss, as they grow in collectives to form patches of 'puff balls'. This collective was observed growing on the ground of Florida park and is common in North America, in both cold and humid climates. reference:https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1873462
