Tulloss, 14 Nov 2013: "Neotypification of A. nivalis is not possible because of the existence of Greville's plate 18 (part of the original description of A. nivalis in Scottish Cryptogamic Flora, 1826), which is required to serve as lectotype in the absence of other original material. According to Prof. Watling there is no other original material in existence. To have any nomenclatural status at all, I believe Watling 17489 should be redesignated as an epitype."
