Description: Original observation #5428 (Mushroom Observer)
Occurrence Remarks: Fruiting at the base of a dying madrone amongst douglas fir, a three needle pine, bay and oak. The open pileus is 5 cm across. Smells of what I now refer to as "green corn". A sweet, rather corn-like smell, rather strongly. Gills were white but I wasn't able to get a good look without removing the specimen.
