Still in my house. In mixed forest at about 5,000': black oak, manzanita, red fir, Lodgepole pine. Collected by James Edmonds, alerted to its presence by squirrel activity. Pleasant, fruity fragrance, gel-chambers and columella. Couldn't find it in Trappe's little truffle book; help, Darvin, help!
