OK, here is my mystery shroom No. 2 if anyone would like to share an opinion (I'm pretty sure mine's still worthless). I would be much more confident of its identity as an Agaricus, had it an annulus. Its cap is 4.7 cm. diameter, plane, brownish-buff with a purplish tint, bruising yellow where handled on the cap surface, which is finely fibrillose and not viscid. The gills are dark brown, free, and close. The sporeprint is some shade of brown, but not distinctive enough to inspire confidence. The stipe is fibrous, 1 cm diameter with a hollow center and sports a nicely rounded bulbous base with a yellowish-orange tint. But the real gem of a feature -- the one in fact that inspired me to attempt an identification -- is its very strong fragrance of almond (like sniffing an open bottle of almond extract).
