This was growing on a standing snag which could have been an old eucalyptus. The spores were salmon pink and about 6.0 X 4.0 microns, elliptical/egg-shaped. It was basically white all over and the cap was 5.2 cm across. Some micro photos of the surface of the pileipellis and gill edge are included. Pluteus pellitus is a white pluteus and outside of the spore size, I couldn't find much information on it.
