in herbarium WU are specimens from this place but I'm not sure if from the same date. This species is between B.speciosus ss.auct.eur. and B.regius but more greyish in cap and often not safely distinguishable from B.fuscoroseus which is the now accepted name for B.speciosus in Europe.It is very rare but a choice edible (I would say unfortunately in this case) growing in thermophilous deciduous woods preferably under oak.
