Possibly another of the C. variipes-like corts. Found quite a few groups of these near the upper elevation limit of the Nothofagus pumilio forest; CAP to 5 cm, viscid when young but drying quickly; GILLS creamy, slightly notched; STIPE dry, finely fibrillose whitish with distinctive purplish cast (some more than others, more pronounced toward base); FLESH whitish, staining brownish near base (see photo), no odor noticed; SPORES rusty brown (just visible in photos on upper side of narrow ring zone); VEIL cortina leaving narrow ring-like structure on mid-stalk (see photo).
