Found at 4,000ft on decaying fir log in late winter during a short break from the usual snow and rain. The mushrooms pictured were about 1.5cm-5cm wide. I'm not sure if the small, conical, black-tipped one is the same species, it seems closer to Mycena alcalina in appearance, too bad I didn't try smelling it.
