I have found this type ony a few times. This one appears to be relatively fresh. The cap is densely hairy, which is not something reported in the field guides ("silky" is what I mainly see in the descriptions). This is the one reason why I did not check "I'd call it that." Large volva is rubbery. Waiting for some spores.
