Found in gravel at side of highway, near milepost 7. Fungi from 2cm to 7cm wide, lots of dirt and leaves on top, forming a humus cap. Can't tell whether Russula or Tricholoma ... yet. An oddity is the black deliquecence in the center of the clump of 5 mushrooms, all of which were very heavy, very hard. Almost looks like a Coprinus grew in the center of the group, then disolved there. But there was no indication of residual stipe. I'll admit I'm stumped.
