Spore print rusty brown.Flesh yellow slightly fibrous no taste no odor. Stem 5 cm X 2 cm white, silky, turning dull white at the apex. Base of stem swollen At the mid sections are remnants of the cortina showing rusty brown spores that have adhered to it. Found in mixed woods of Hemlock, Oak ,Hickory Beech, This name is the closest I can come up with. I found it in Bessetes Mushrooms of Northeastern North America page 109. the discription that he gives mentions no swelling at the base.
