Original observation #32038 (Mushroom Observer)
cap 7 cm red, round, convex smooth on top and having low wrinkles towards the margin Top has a shallow depression. Skin peeling easily, Gills narrow attached to stem, crowded white. Stem 5 cm X 3 cm equal light pink, smooth, dry. Flesh brittle fragile white unchanging when bruised. Taste Acrid odor non distinct. spore print, light yellow. Found solitary growing under Red Oak with Hickory in the area.
