Found under quaking aspen. There were several scattered widely in that area. The cap is about 1.5" wide, stalk was hidden. In the second photo I've cleared away the moss and some dirt to show the stalk. Using Mushrooms of NE NA, I'm having trouble deciding between G. esculenta and G. korfii, leaning toward korfii as the stalk is enlarged at base, ribbed, and multichambered.
