Leptogium cyanescens (Rabenh.) Körber
Gary Perlmutter MUOB 50140
Verbatim Date: 2010-5-8
United States, North Carolina, Wake, Turnipseed Preserve
This keys to L. cyanescens except for the color. Lobes smooth, isidiate. An alternative is L. millegranum, but I'm not comfortable with that name either. Any help would be appreciated. I can also send specimens upon request. This cyanolichen is common in shaded forests both on rock and bark.
