After reading of a few other members of another mushroom "community" finding Psilocybe pelliculoa this season in Western Canada, and then more recently in clear cuts in Western Washinton - I decided to go looking for some here in Western Oregon in some clear cuts, as the habitat is identical. Sure enough I found the following specimen in a Douglas Fir clear cut outside of my town and they seemed to match with every attribute that I could find for P. pelliculosa. Separable gelatinous pelicle, purple/black spore print, and yeah... just about everything else.
