I observed in the same day two specimens of Lobothallia separated in the field by 1 Km approximately. The other one is considered in MO69876. This one is very symilar in the form of the thallus and in color to the one in MO65481, despite of the apothecia being immersed, with the exception of a small number that are visisble in the photos. A remark concerning the chemical reactions must be made. This specimen presented the following somewhat strange reactions to the spot tests, at least this is my understanding of them: C+ yellow and C+ orange/reddish on apothecia; K+ brownish; KC+ yellowish. None of the known species of Lobothallia has such chemical reactions, particularly the reaction to C, and I don't know their meaning.
