I am a bit more comfortable putting a name onto this bicolor group bolete based on its looks and the outcome of macrochemical tests. It was groung on a mossy patch in the middle of a wide trail with oaks on either side. This one did not have the odor characteristic of B. sensibililis, but since these specimen duo is young, perhaps lack of such odor should not be taken too seriously. The rest of details is provided under each photo.
