This fertile specimen was found after the one considered in MO75509, that one with no apothecia. An unexpect feature of the apothecia in this species is that they are visible only from the underside (see the photo that follows the chemical reactions). The 3-septate spores and the values obtained for the dimensions of the spores (although a bit shorter than expected, maybe due to a local variation) seems to confirm that the species is Nephroma laevigatum_, according to description presented in Macrolichens of the Pygmy Forestok7bDHJSrTZ6sQA12jfB53U8HZzWHflVv&sig=AHIEtbQanvzzmbCVeXb9j3jkpnPXXv4hig and the photos in azoresbioportal. Average dimensions of the spores: Me = 16.5 x 5.9 µm ; Qe = 2.8 (N=40).
