Growing by the edge of a driveway under white pine near a bonanza of Amanita muscari var. Guessowi and Suillus americanus. But these boletes were distict. The pores are tan and less like aligned like gills than the more yellow S. americanus. The cap is tan to reddish-brown, not bright yellow. But the most interesting characteristic is the possible association with the Amanita in the last two photos.
