The two species - Parasola lactea and P. plicatilis - are morphologically very similar. Their spores also have the same form, being bigger in the latter species. In the present case, the values obtained for the spores dimensions: Me = 11.1 x 9.2 µm ; Qe = 1.2 (N=35), are too big for P. lactea and fall in the lower part of the scale of variation of P. plicatilis. Therefore, I think that this is the species of my specimen.
