Found alongside down, rotting pitch pine, in dirt/needle litter. Had been to this location before, first time I'd seen this variety. Only two to be found nearby. Larger had white veil, smaller was still not formed. After being kept in the dark, in cardboard boxes after a week, both had grown quite a bit; caps both broadened and flattened. Now that they are dry the caps are tan/brownish. I wish I had pictures of their mature states.
