These were growing on near Redwoods with caps up to 2.2 cm across. The spore print was purplish black and were ~ 14.0-17.0 X 8.0-9.1 microns with a large apical pore. Q(ave.) was 1.83. Cheilocystidia was narrowly lageniform and ~ 30-40 X 10 microns. There were some pinkish tints on some of the caps as they dried but the spores were somewhat larger than what is referenced for P. gracilis.
