Fruiting abundantly on well rotted conifer log- in boggy portion of park.Doug fir, Western hemlock above. Cap: white initially, rubbery, dry,velvety,thick- well established(leathery) pellicle. Young specimens with indented center. Stem: short, white staining light brown. Stipe and gills staining brown. Scent: fungaloid/polypore-esque- slightly fishy after handling.
