This specimen was very small (about 1.2 cm for the bigger dimension) and nevertheless the fruiting bodies were present. At first I thought they could be perithecia, but a closer look at full magnification shows that they can be apothecia. The orbicular thallus is very distinctive: gray with some green tones at the center and corona and a well-developed whitish prothallus. It seems to me that this is similar to the young specimens in observation 99940, the spot tests were (more or less) the same and so they could be of the same species. I made the observation of the photobiont, which should be Trentepohlia if it was a Dirina. I cannot guarantee that the alga is such (and I still don't know how), but what I can say is that the alga is of the same type that in observation 96408 (which is also a Dirina sp.).
