Loosely resupinate yellow-orange fungus growing on maple cordwood. The fungus was imbedded in the wood and grew through the bark. The top photo shows a dark redish-brown reaction to KOH. The second photo is the decorticated log on which it began its existance. Looking closely it appears to have small goblet shaped structures. The cordwood had been covered with a tarp since it was stacked. Photo 4 and the last photo show the inside of the bark.
