Collected from the edge of a sandy trail near Pinus rigida and scrub oaks in the Kennebunk Plains Wildlife Management Area, Kennebunk, ME. This species and another very different Inocybe (my Obs 140270) were growing 30-40 feet apart on the same trail. Spores are irregularly and bluntly nodulose. Encrusted metuloid pleurocystidia are present along with thick walled non-encrusted cystidia (cheilocystidia)? See photomicrographs.
