The biggest i ever picked, also found a few near it, growing in clusters. The cap was 27 cm in diameter, and the stem 22 cm height. It grew beneath a very large poplar tree, the dried up leaves can be seen on the ground, i also added 3 pictures of it. In the shade of this tree, on a slope, i found a lot of what i now know to be Leccinum Duriusculum, picked the big ones for eating purposes. Finding so many, in all stages of growth, gave me a wonderful opportunity to take pictures. They are still growing there, i will leave enough of them in place to ensure continuity.
