Orange caps with a pileal width from 20-58 mm, a stipe width of 3-8 mm at the base, and stipe length of 17-35 mm. Lamelae 1-2mm wide x 10-30 mm. long. Trama very thin with a stipe width at the apex from 4-8mm in diameter. Pileus is convex to plane, and shallowlt depressed to deeply depressed to infundibuliforme, and orbicular. The margins were incurved and entire. Surfaces were dull, dry and smooth, with some wrinkles upon drying. Pileal flesh is yellowish-orange. Trama was soft,and pleasant, with no discernible taste. The gills are decurrent, crowded, very thin with smooth margins, dull faces, and dichotomusly branched. Stipes were central to eccentric, terrete, equal to tapered slightly towards the base which has whitish rhizoides, and was smooth. Stipes were orange, fibrous , and when bent in half left jagged edges. Growth habit was scattered to gregarious, stipitate, and terrestrial under white pine.
