Occurrence Remarks:
There were several groups of very large stemmed mushrooms in this grassy area. I am not sure if they are all the same, but may be closely related. These share the characteristic of having a very thick fleshy stalk. The stalk flesh is white and crumbly. The base of the stems are 3,4, 5 inches or more in diameter. The ones show here grow as a group.
