Single fruit-body growing in mixed woods, mostly firs and tanoak. Cap 4.5 cm wide and total height of 12.2 cm. Cap fairly viscid with thin striations up to 15 mm long. Spore print thin but appeared sl colored(orangy) and not amyloid. Gills also appeared to be v. sl orangy. Spores ~ 10.0-12.2 X 9.0-11.9 microns. Q(range) = 1.0-1.11 Q(ave) = 1.05. I guess it could be a whitish form of one of our Grisettes.
