Found growing from a late stage decayed stump just under the surface of the ground. Grassy area next to a road and cemetery. Root almost absent and staining rust color (root and base only). Cap 10cm diameter on average, sticky when wet, slightly wrinkled after 12hrs in the refridgerator. Stipe 12cm on average, slimy, sticky. Lower part of stem colored same as cap (fawn brown). Upper portion of stem and gills were white. Spore print was bright white and very proliferous. Growing individually scattered in the area of the stump which was just under the surface. Assuming stump was hardwood judging from surrounding landscape.
