Found in the lower Turkey Creek Unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve. Cap 7.1 cm across, somewhat tacky and difficult to remove adhering sand. Spores were white and amyloid. Spores ~ 11.2-15.4 X 3.9-5.0 microns, oblong to cylindric. Q(range) = 2.73-3.53. Q(ave) = 3.15. It had an somewhat unpleasant odor that I can't put a name to. With the distinctive spores, appendiculate cap margin and volva, I thought it would be an easy ID.
