Occurrence Remarks:
Mixed hardwood forest. It was found solitary and growing in soil.Pileus was 11cm in width. Pileus was plane in orientation and off-white with patches of brown in color. Pileus was rough in texture and featured an inrolled margin. Gills were yellowish in color and attached to the stipe. Stipe was 8.5cm in length and 3.5cm in width. Stipe was thick, smooth in texture, and off-white in color. A large white mycelial mat was present at base of the stipe. Spore print could not be obtained.
