Under very large white pine in suburban yard. Cap eccentric on stalk, yellow, somewhat velvety, but not pulvinate, darker brown in the center. Fine sterile margin. Cap context yellow rapidly staining pale blue. Odor of beef broth. Pore red-brown, partially decurrent. Stipe yellow with reddish brown surface. Context of stipe yellow rapidly staining pale blue to pale brown. Mycelium bright yellow. Substrate appears to be commercial wood mulch product, though the top surface of ground was covered with white pine needles. Certainly appears to me an occasional saphrophyte.
