Terrestrial near Red Oak. The photos don't show the true coloration of the caps which were lavender or lilac, plane with a central depression and slightly yellowish over the disc. Actually the caps was slightly lighter than the gills. Margin incurved to decurved. Gills adnexed to emarginate, close to crowded, pinkish lilac. Stipe short gray-white, and ridged with lilac colorations, thin near apex with a cleft base and hollow; possibly due to the large amounts of larvae present in the cap and stipe. No spore print produced.
