Yellow brown caps 28-50 mm dia. with an incurved to decurved margin becoming wavy. Flesh yellowish white, gills close to subdistant, red becoming reddish brown in age. Five lenghts of lamellulae present between adjacent gills. Stipe 25-50 mm long, solid, brittle becoming hollow (possibly due to larva, yellow and relatively equal. Terrestrial by Oak and Maple. Spore print rust. Having problems scraping spores to scope. The reason I Chose "could be" was that there were no conifers whatsoever where these were found. I have a few caps available if needed.
