Found at 10:37 am. Saprobic,heavy growth, in clusters of 3 (shown in picture), in the woods near the base of a hardwood tree. Odor: cucumber, fresh Pileus size: 2-5cm The top of the pileus had a few scattereed white dots on in the center of it. Pileus color: dark brown (maybe younger in age) Pileus size: 2-5cm Pileus surface: smooth, shiny, silky, slippery/lubricous, Pileal shape: convex to conical Pileus margin: smooth, lobular, irregular, inrolled, sticky Stipe color: cream, white, light brown spots visible close to the base Gills are very close together, not much room between. Stipe width: 2-3 cm Stipe length: 3-6 cm Stipe shape: solid, Stipe surface: fibrillose, smooth Stipe base: Caespitose (in group of 3) Location of stipe: central Gill Attachment: arcuate Gill margin: wavy, somewhat scalloped Gills color: white Gills width: 1.5mm There is some space between the gills, easy to separate. Spacing -at margin: >1mm apart -1/2 way to margin: 1/mm apart Lamellae: back-forked near margin Lamellulae/short gills length: 4 tiers
