found in isolation growing on deadwood in Deep River County Park, Indiana on October 10, 2014. This area is oak forest, which consists of elm and oak trees. This park is near farm, industry, and residential areas. The tan pileus was dry, dull, smooth, and felt slightly velvety. Its diameter was 3.0 cm. The pileus margin was nonstriate smooth with a few slits, but it is not completely rimos. The shape was broadly convex with a deep infundibuliform. There were tan gill like structures present, but they were very shallow and run down the stipe. The tan, centrally located stipe, which was smooth and equal, had the dimensions .3 x 2.0 cm. There was no volva or annulus present.
