This fungus was found growing in soil gregariously near oak trees in Lemon Lake Park, Crown Point. When it was collected, the surface of the pileus was very slimy, sticky, and wet. The surface was very smooth, silky, glutinous. The size of the pileus was measured to be 9 cm and picked fresh, it was light pink in color and bruised a darker pink color. There were some darker spots in the center. The shape of the pileus is slightly depressed and planar. The stipe was measured to be 4.0 cm, with a fibrillose texture. At its base was a mycelial pad. The gills were two-tiered event, decurrent, and light pinkish and yellow tinges in color. They were very thin, at around 1.5mm in width and the spacing was less than 2mm apart at the margin.
