Terrestrial in mixed woods, but found near White Ash (Fraxinus Americana), Shagbark Hickory (Carya ovata). Striate-sulcate medium sized purplish caps, umbonate, with Purplish gills and whitish edges. Stipe yellowish, but whiter at the apex, longitudinally lined, having granular particles along most of its length, and some white particles on the base. Debris attached to base. No spore print.
