These specimens accumulated in a small rock at the top of a hill with about 800m above the sea level, sharing the habitat with the common L. pustulata and other crustose lichens, like Rhizocarpon and Umbilicaria. They all presented a strange feature: the margin of lobes, which usually have dense tufts of black isidia, seems to be irregular (like they lost a part of it) and don't have any isidia; Moreover, they lack isidia in any other part.
