Common to abundant on Pinon Pine (Pinus edulis) bark, not seen on adjacent Junipers. Yellow-green foliose lichen with abundant marginal soralia, occasional laminal soralia, and a wrinkled upper thallus. Pseudocyphellae uncommon, occurring primarily at lobe tips. Apothecia absent. Thallus upper cortex K-, C-, medulla C+R. Lower thallus surface dark brown, lighter at lobe tips, rhizines black, some white short rhizines at lobe tips.
