Common on Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) in coniferous forest habitat. Thallus yellow-green, wrinkled, with irregularly shaped pseudocyphellae (less prominent than I'd like), soredia laminal from pseudocyphellae and more commonly marginal on underside of lobes. Underside black to pale brown at lobe tips, rhizines black, common in center, sparse at lobes. Thallus K-, C-, KC-. Medulla white, C+R (faint), K-. Apothecia rare but showing on two different specimens, disc rich brown, margin sorediate, C+R. Photos represent several specimens.
