Habitat: mixed forest dominated by Abies amabilis (Pacific Silver Fir), with Alnus in openings Substrate: Wood Flesh: white Odor: fragrant, anise-like, reminiscent of Clitocybe odora Chemical: Cap surface brown with KOH; flesh light brown with KOH
