POSTIA TEPHROLEUCA (FR.) JÃLICH, POLYPORACEAE, APHYLLOPHORALES. (ÐÐСТÐЯ СÐ*Ð Ð-Ð'Ð*ÐÐЯ). Milky-white up to light grey or brownish-white flattened or crust-like mushroom Cap: 4-8cm wide, 1-2 cm thick, fan-shaped, circular or semicircular; often irregular shaped or crust-like, flat, minor gentle convex, milky-white up to light gray or brownish-white, cream-white; often with concentric coloring; upper surface is smooth, sometimes uneven and somewhat bumpy, lower part is fine velvety because micro porous. Flesh: soft 0.5-1.5cm thick, somewhat elastic, white up to light gray then brownish-grey when old. Tubes: 2-8 long and 3-5 per 1mm; pores oval and indistinct when young. Stalk: absent, mainly lateral fixation. Habitat: small groups or overlapped clusters at the old partially rotten stumps or trunks of deciduous woods. Edibility: no data. Season: June-September.
