In oak-dominant woods. Locally common in one patch. All parts completely white. Spore print WHITE. Taste quite acrid. Stem very fragile, mushy inside. This could be R. albidula but the spore print is not yellow. The closest all-white species in Macrofungi of Oaks has tiny granules in the center of the cap; this one doesn not.
