Caps brownish tan with white flesh slightly bruising pinkish brown and with a decurved margin. Pilipellis doesn't peel; tubes yellowish white, 7-9 mm long. Pores white becoming yellowish white and bruising tan to light brown, and sunken at the stipe near the apex. Stipe white, 6.5-7.5 cm long x8-9 mm at the apex enlarging slightly downwards to a pointed base with white mycelium. Stipe flesh white, stains pinkish tan above and in worm holes, and light blue green in lower 1/3 portion. Odor pleasant, taste mild. Found near Black Birch saplings. No chemical reactions occurred. Possibly well desiccated.
